🇺🇸 Here's a Key Bet to use on today's Late Pick 5.
Let's make some money!

Golden Gate Race 8

Golden Gate Race 8

#3 THIS IS THE ONE is 9-2 morning line and makes first start for new trainer Specht off a long layoff but has eye catching works from the red hot trainer, which is never his normal pattern and really got our attention! Was well bet in the debut race at Santa Anita and only ran ok before taking the long break, but looks ready to roll today with "go to" rider Alvarado taking the mount.  The one has some decent quality siblings from the 2 that have raced and those sibs are 24% wins in 17 starts on synthetic!

#11 LIVIN AT THE BU ran a winning type race at this level over this track 3 starts ago before having to break the pattern and race down South during the Covid shutdown. Those efforts weren’t bad at all considering she was very wide on a tricky Los Al track where you can't lose ground on the turn, and then wasn't embarrassed in a turf route.  The route to sprint and the eye popping 5F workout from slow and steady workout trainer Bill McLean means this one could be ready for a break out race today..

#1 MY LEGAL BET is a first time starter with some solid works from a good trainer Jamey Thomas who wins at 26% with his first timers at this level and usually works horses fast if they have something to show.  The sire is low profile but 17% first time starter wins and the dam has had 3 runners first time out with 1 winner and 1 third.

#8 CLEVER CHIEFTESS is a 15-1 first time starter with some sneaky good works from an under-rated trainer with his first timers.  The sire is low profile and only 10% first time starter wins but the dam has already had 1 first time starter winner from her 1 other runner to race and this one could run well at a price.
